* The Celts believed rabbits were important because they could get to the other world because rabbits lived in the ground.
* Rabbits were also considered unique and mystical because they were born with their eyes open.
* Open eyes to the Celts meant wisdom
* The Celts believed since you could see a big reflection in their eyes, they could see the future
* By holding any part of a rabbit would be considered lucky.
* The foot was the simplest thing to carry.
